My name is Rachel - welcome to my tuition website!
Music has always been a huge part of my life. Whether I’m listening, learning, or creating, I love every aspect of it. As I’ve grown in my own skills and knowledge, I’ve discovered a real passion for teaching. I love helping students develop their abilities, build confidence, and achieve their goals — it’s incredibly rewarding to be part of that journey.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Music and have a year of postgraduate experience teaching both in schools and privately. I’m always excited to work with passionate students who are keen to learn, grow, and develop their musicianship in a supportive and encouraging environment.

What are the lessons like?

All music lessons are accompanied with musical theory education (from grades 1-5) unless specified otherwise. Through this, students will learn a range of practical skills for their instrument of choice, while also understanding the theory and workings behind what they are playing. This will be exceptionally helpful for their musical practice, playing with other musicians and general creative development.

My passion is to teach and help develop musical skills for my students through a method specific for their learning style and interest. I am here to help and guide your passion and equip you to achieve your goals, whatever that looks like for you!
